Wallace Barbecue Restaurant - Austell

The staff is fantastic, and the food is outstanding! I went there once to give it a try, and I ended up returning two more times that week! I've sampled various meats and dishes each time (I still haven't tried the chicken), and I've been thoroughly satisfied with everything—no complaints at all. You definitely need to check this place out. You won't find better food or prices anywhere else!

This has been our favorite barbecue restaurant for many years, and the drive to Austell is definitely worth it.

The food was terrible. By the time I got home, everything was ice cold. The ribs were like they had been cooked and reheated from the previous day, chopped up as if they were leftovers. The sweet baked potato was burnt beyond recognition. Since I had never been there before, I asked the person at the register for her recommendation, but if this is what they consider good, then no way would I give it a five-star review. Honestly, it wouldn’t deserve a single star. They claimed it was the best barbecue in town, but I've definitely had better, with actual seasoning. If dining in is like this, I might as well starve.

I was disappointed that BBQ is not the same as it used to be. And do not go near closing time... all the servers are in a hurry to get out the door.

A place to stop in if you like a southern country atmosphere and good BBQ.
