South Cobb Diner - Austell

This restaurant is fantastic! I haven't had fried green tomatoes in years, along with Salisbury steak and black-eyed peas! I flew in from San Diego, CA today, and this was the very first place I visited. The food was wonderful, and the service was outstanding! I will definitely come back here before I leave the city next week!

Stacy, our server, greeted us warmly right away and recommended the evening's special: red snapper with scallops and assorted seafood. It came with a medley of grilled vegetables. The meal was absolutely fantastic—an impressive 12 out of 10! The fish and seafood were some of the freshest I’ve ever tasted, even compared to what you might find at the beach. Stacy was very attentive throughout our meal and shared insights about the restaurant, which has only been open for a few months. We will definitely return!

The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. However, it would have been helpful if the server had a better knowledge of the beers on tap or had brought back the beer menu, as the one we received didn't provide much information about the options available. Overall, the prices were very reasonable too!

We had Thanksgiving dinner here. It's in my area and I'm so glad I found it. Great food, Shannon was an amazing server, and the place was great.
