I hate to say it, but after spending $40, it’s all going in the trash. The greens were from a can, and the mac and cheese was beyond disgusting—definitely not what anyone would expect. When I opened the container, a pool of yellow liquid splattered all over my clothes. The “yams” were just mashed sweet potatoes, the fries were old and unseasoned, and the shrimp seemed like the frozen Sea Pak kind. I didn't even bother with the catfish since everything else was so terrible. Save your time and money and steer clear of this place until they can turn things around.

My experience at Swirk Soul Food was quite disappointing. The food didn't meet my expectations at all; it lacked taste and quality. To make matters worse, the gentleman who took my order was not very friendly, which contributed to an overall unsatisfactory visit. I had hoped for a better experience, but unfortunately, it didn't deliver on any front. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're seeking a satisfying and enjoyable meal.

I ordered a catfish sandwich meal with fries and potato salad. The food was ready quickly—around 10 minutes—but when I got back to work and opened it up, the fish was undercooked (raw) and not crispy at all. The potato salad was warm, sitting underneath the fish. I called the restaurant to express my concerns and later went back after work hoping to get a refund or a properly cooked meal. When I arrived, the man there had a really bad attitude and immediately started blaming me for not specifying that I wanted the fish crispy. Seriously? Who asks for crispy catfish? That’s exactly what I expected! Why do I have to tell you to do your job correctly? I was taken aback by his reaction. While I did get my money refunded, I won’t be ordering from this place again. They’ve definitely lost a customer.

Have only ordered delivery, haven't visited yet, but I love this food. Catfish always on pont. Wish was spicy, but great as is. The beef ribs, HELL YEAH so good and so thick Pork chops were really good. Hush puppies, corn bread, fried okra, greens... this is really good food!Food: 5/5

I ask the older gentleman if he had home made potato salad he told me yes. When I received my meal it was store brought potato salad with mustard added to it when i mentioned it the man got upset so i ordered greens and cornbread the cornbread was hard af and the greens was glory seasoned mixed greens. ALL CAN FOOD.. don’t wast your time and his cakes are from kings…
