We all believe we are entitled. Customer service has fallen steadily for years. People just don't seem to care about their neighbors like they used to. Still. Despite one of the two servers on the weekend. Despite the fact that most of us had complained about the workload or at least had an annoyed look at our face. Tyler was amazing! She smiled, friendly and never let her be responsible for half the entire dining area! We didn't wait for the service, she was attentive, she even circled to check us out several times. She was a true example of a superior person and a great memory of how we all have the opportunity to choose our answers to any situation. Tyler was a model for all of us!
It seems like a disease that's being transferred to so many restaurants post covid. You place an order you go and pick it up you assume that they have everything you get home and things are missing. It is a quality control issue that is 100% a management issue. It is very simple to put in place a check mark process that an order is checked physically prior to leaving. The fact that food costs have gone up so much makes this even more important as I the customer will never return due to wasting 30 minutes of my day for their mistake. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from that know how to do to go orders properly. I hope they learn from their mistakes.
This was my first visit to Aurora. We decided to sit at the bar to order some wings and drinks. Despite the snow outside, we didn't rush to leave, and I'm really glad we took our time. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful—we enjoyed chatting with the friendly people at the bar. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and the service was excellent as well. I’m definitely looking forward to going back!
We had lunch in between the wedding ceremony and check-in at the Bertram Inn for a wedding reception. With some time to spare, we decided to visit B-Dubs on its second-to-last day before closing for renovations. While the exterior was already shut down, the interior still had the familiar dark ambiance of a typical B-Dubs. I opted for a Blue Moon as my wheat beer and tried the black bean burger. It was decent, just like the fries. The fried pickles, however, were quite tasty! The service was also pretty good!
