The Hurst Bakery - Aurora

My favorite flavor was the lemon poppy seed. I enjoy the combination of lemon and poppy seed, but I had never tried it in a macaron before. Initially, I was hesitant, but it turned out to be delicious!

The cake was made up of layers of moist carrot cake with fluffy icing in between. Despite not being a fan of carrot cake, I found myself loving this cake and could have easily eaten a quarter of it on my own. The quality and taste were exceptional, and we couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was. The cream cheese icing and cake were light and fluffy, which is not often found in carrot cakes. The decoration of the cake was also beautifully done. Others have recommended the bakery for its wonderful treats, mentioning that we should try the hazelnut cookies and gingerbread. I will definitely be returning to this bakery and will update my review with pictures when I do!

The coconut cream pie at this bakery is absolutely delicious. This establishment has been serving high-quality baked goods for over 25 years and continues to be a popular choice due to their excellent quality and affordable prices. In addition to the coconut cream pie, their breads, muffins, and custom-made cakes are also exceptional. I highly recommend stopping by when I am in the northern part of the city.
