Will continue to come back!!!
Waiting staff is friendly and courteous. Nice spot to get your sushi fix. Food quality is good. Would recommend them to anyone. Definitely worth a try.
THIS RESTAURANT IS A TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT! One of the worst Sushi restaurants ever! After having reviewed their all you can eat menu and having acquired with great disappointment their very very very limited choices of Sashimi and varieties of Sushi, we decided to order a la cart from their dinner Menu. Among others we ordered their 31 pieces "Love boat" assorted Sushi/Sashimi for two! Despite the fact that it contained only a total of 28 pieces, 6 pieces were imitation crab of the same type that you can buy at your local supermarket in packages that contain 12 pieces, sold for no more than $ 3.99 a package. It also included 2 pieces of some sort of spicy tuna Sushi completely covered with spicy mayo, featured also a total of 4 varieties of fresh fishes: 2 very tiny pieces of tuna, 2 very small pieces of white tuna, 2 small pieces of red snapper, and 2 pieces of Salmon. We noticed also 2 clams and 2 pieces of Salmon Sushi. The selection was completed by 8 very small pieces of salmon Maki. We logically called the manager and protested, pointing out that we were wishing to enjoy fresh fish Sushi and Sashimi and requested to have the imitation crab substituted with fresh Salmon or another sort of fish. They refused. After paying a bill of over $73.00 I can affirm that we will never again return to this poor quality over priced restaurant. We found their food greasy, heavy and very poor in quality and therefore overpriced!
Having written a positive review for this restaurant in the past it is disappointing to find out that their attention to service and quality have completely slipped. I have been back a few times since my initial review and each time it gets a little bit worse. Their interest in customer satisfaction has hit rock bottom. If you go a hour before closing and order the all you can eat package there is a rush to get your food out to you and intense pressure for you to get your second order in. They are not shy to tell you the kitchen is closing and then begin mopping floors behind you, making you feel like "Hey it is time to go". All this despite having ordered bottles of wine and clearly trying to celebrate an important occasion. When you arrive they ALWAYS try to seat you in the front room because they want to clean and clear the restaurant not ensure the customer can sit at a quiet table of their choosing. Most people order the all you can eat option. We have resorted to taking a cell phone picture of the menu after we have made our selections and handed it in because it is often not what you ordered and the waitstaff will argue with you about it. They offer "on the house" appetizers?? It is an all you can eat price what is "on the house"?? Those appetizers are low cost items they hope you eat to help fill you up. If you end up going don't be fooled by this ploy. They are greasy and not worth the calories so just pass on the freebie - it isn't free. If you order Sashimi (sliced fish with no rice) it will arrive 15 to 20 mins after the original order. When you enquire as to the delay you are told it takes extra time to prepare sashimi???? Seriously?? It is sliced fish. The same fish going into the rest of the sushi. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out the game...if you are hungry you will likely forgo your aversion to carbs and eat some of the hand rolls which are full of rice while you wait. When the sashimi finally arrives you are less likely to order more of it because you have filled up on rice. Sashimi is far more expensive to serve than sushi rolls. Just insist that the sashimi come out with the rest of the order and if need be they should place that part of the order first. They won't be happy about it but you will be beating them at their own game. Again the focus has shifted from the customer to maximizing profits. This is not a place that the customer and their wants is anywhere near the top of the list. Sadly the focus on profit has been reflected in the quality of what they actually do serve. For me the straw that broke the camels back was walking in to lunch with my daughter at 1pm and being ushered to a table by the front door with a fake tree over hanging it (I would of needed to duck to get under it). When I ask for another seat and we walked into the back room we were told that the table for two by a bright sunny window was reserved. No reserved sign on it and it clearly looked like a part of the restaurant that had been cleaned for the dinner service. The table next to it was reserved too, but the greasy uncleaned table in a dingy corner across the room was available. I can't believe that this restaurant has declined so quickly, maybe once you get busy you can afford to not care about customer satisfaction and quality.
Good sushi and a reasonable price - things are always fresh and the service is good. There are better sushi restaurants in town but you will pay a significant premium - great value for money here!!!
