Moon Garden Restaurant - Aurora

Went there for 25 years. Our last take out order we had to search for the meat. I told them to come and pick up their food as I was so disappointed. They gave me my next order FREE but it was exactly the same, barely any meat with plenty of cheap greens which is not what the dish should have been. We have since found a better Chinese take out and after 20+ orders have never been disappointed. No idea what happened to Moon Garden unless the restaurant changed hand and decided to cheap out on their dishes. Absolutely no parking for pick up orders since it is on Yonge St. Too bad since it was a favourite for many years.

I've been coming here for years and have given this restaurant so many chances to get back to what they use to do. ( think new owners 4 yrs ago) but its only getting worse. They don't know the menu, food has no flavour, dishes taste nothing like they should.

The Chinese food is not that bad considering its your standard Chinese food but I find Newmarket and Aurora don't have too many Chinese food joints so this is the best of a bad bunch but is edible

The place has been recently removed so it looks quite clean. The staff is friendly. The food was not bad but not great. I had the cashew chicken, which tasted quite salty. I was starving so I ate it all but I cannot say that I enjoyed it...

Well the first impression of walking in it looks sort of renovated but not finished yet, been about 3 times and pricing is fair... Now unless you like deep fried Chinese food I suggest you skip here, not authentic at all poorly made. Service matched the quality of the food having to ask the waiter for water whenever our glasses were empty was undesirable. If you like bad service, OK food, Un-comfy seats and bad services to top it all off be my guest but I wont be back any time soon theirs tons of better places....Coincidently they'll be getting my business
