Empire Chef - Aurora

If we need a quick Chinese food fix this is the place. It's local and reasonable and the food is always fresh. They make it right there in front of the you the place is very clean and has a good variety of eats. We LOVE the General Tau Chicken and the Shrimp.

This is a convenient location within walking distance for us. Located in a friendly plaza and accessible while doing other shopping. Primarily for take out however there is room to sit if you choose. Delivery is also available.

The food is amazing the staff is friendly and the lunch deals are greatly priced for the amount of food you get!!

Food is fresh and always ready on time for pick up. As with many take out places it is not comfortable to eat in. Have tried numerous dishes and have never been disappointed. It is our go to Chinese after having tried most in town.

We discovered this gem after our favourite Chinese food place changed ownership 3 times in a year. We found them in our local plaza no less. The food is always spot on and the portions extremely generous. And most importantly consistent. WE love to do a $5.25 lunch special which is healthier and less expensive than McD's. And we always take home left overs. The little patio is cute. I recommend the BBQ pork ribs.. they are huge and very meaty, worth every penny.
