Tuckahoe Seafood

We came to Virginia from Ohio, to celebrate thanksgiving. I wanted to teach my nieces how to make sushi. They had the best salmon and tuna, and were very helpful. Thank you for helping us make the best memories. We had a great holiday.

We bought some of their homemade smoked bacon last week. It is delicious. The best bacon we’ve had!

New ownership has turned this hidden jewel into a polished diamond. Impressive! Variety, freshness, and availability. The fresh fish selection is most impressive, with plenty of local Rockfish, and terrific Salmon. One of the few local spots to consistently find Lobster. Should anyone find a better place locally please let me know. It's nice to buy seafood from professionals, who stand by their product.

Hands down my favorite food establishment in Richmond. We cook most of our meals and Tuckahoe is a go to for ingredients. They are the best quality and have rotating/ever changing variety (seriously they get most interesting fish . In addition they have the best seasonal produce, farm fresh dairy, hard to find specialty groceries, amazing prepared foods meats, and fancy housemade deserts. You can usually get everything for a full special meal or night in one stop (even craft/handmade cards available one stop! . They have a very high standard for cleanliness and product and are extremely knowledgeable and giving on how to prepare anything they sell. If they don't have something you want they do their best to order it. Just go there already! Whatever you buy and cook will probably be the best of X (you fill in the blank that you have ever had.
