Leeuwin Diner - AUGUSTA

We really wanted fish and chips for lunch, but a well known shop was closed during the time of our visit. We were directed to this shop by a local. Enquired about the fish and was told it was imported from New Zealand, so opted for a simple Toasted Sandwich and my Aunt an egg and bacon toasted sandwich. Almost fainted at the $7.50 price tag for each toastie. I expected something amazing for this price but was sadly disappointed on a bit of ham and tomato between to slices of your everyday sliced loaf. My Aunt discovered her egg and bacon covered in BBQ sauce, her most unfavourite accompaniment of all time. Would have been nice to be asked!! Gentleman serving was not friendly and never came to ask if we had enjoyed our meal, which we did not. I'm sure there must be other better options in this area, we should have looked further. :(

Great customer services, nice and clean facilities. Ordered a cook fish and chip with prawn, the food is great!

It's great to see that a change of name hasn't seen a change in anything else, still great food. Great coffee. And great people behind the counter, always so friendly and polite just what you expect in a small regional location, keeps us coming back every visit to beautiful Augusta

We've eaten at a few places in Augusta during our stay but I have to say that the Leeuwin Diner has by far the BEST burgers and the yummiest chips!! The kids ate every morsel of their toasted ham cheese sandwich and nuggets and chips which is no mean feat as they were big servings!! Very friendly service too

Ofen travel to Augusta first time we have visited this Diner well what a surprise we had one of the best lunches I had there works steak burger & chips my wife had a BLT and the kids had nuggets & chips with a free drink. We had great coffee with our meal , the staff so good and friendly. We will certainly be back Thankyou
