Riverfront Barbeque - Augusta

If you find yourself in the Augusta area, you shouldn't miss The Riverfront Barbeque and its upstairs lounge, the Gin Mill. They serve outstanding authentic barbeque and offer a diverse menu that includes plenty of vegetarian choices. I enjoyed the barbeque, while my wife couldn't stop praising the veggie burrito. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall experience. We had a fantastic time!

This is a charming local restaurant that isn't part of a chain. They serve delicious barbecue with generous portion sizes, and there's a pleasant bar area. It's more of a casual, fun atmosphere rather than a formal dining experience, but the background music is excellent, and the pie is absolutely divine.

First, let me mention that my friend's family hails from the South and they're passionate about their barbecue. So when they recommended this place, I knew it had to be fantastic. I decided to place a takeout order since I prefer to enjoy messy foods in the comfort of my hotel room. The barbecue chicken was absolutely divine! The quality of the chicken was excellent, and it was clear that they had mastered their barbecue technique. The prices were very reasonable too. The woman who assisted me with my order was incredibly helpful and charming. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely return!

The riverfront barbeque and also the gin mill (a lounge on the top floor) are not to be missed when they are in the Augusta area. excellent real barbeque and a lot of other options, including many vegetarian elements. I fucked up on bbq and ran my wife over the veggie burrito. the attentive and smiling service rounded out the experience. great time.

A nice local non-chain spot. Good grill large portions a beautiful bar area. More of a fun place than a formal but the background music is great and the cake is to die.
