Ocean Basket Melville

I stepped for a quick drink, but I opted for the dessert. Which I was happy with... and so tasty. The service is also very quick. I'll definitely visit again to sample more desserts

I have been going to this Ocean Basket from the time I moved to Johannesburg after trying out various other branches at the big malls.After I tried the Melville Branch(which my friend recommend)there is no going back to any other branch ever. The staff are friendly and have been working there for a while so they know the menu and remember how you like your food and your preferences which makes things so special and make you want to tip them well.They are very attentive and always come check if you are ok . The food is always well prepared and always fresh and delicious. The sushi is to die for and well prepared and fresh. The fish is grilled to perfection and never over or under done.If you really want to know what great seafood taste like with great service to go with it go to this branch you will not regret it. Its small but much more personal.

This is one of my favourite Ocean Baskets because the food is consistently good.  It just tastes better than  most other Ocean Baskets.  I had prawns today and my husband had the kinglklip . Both were delicious. The decor looks like something you'd find near the seaside too.

Really easy to find as it is on the main street. The food here is really good and we'll prepared, the sushi is really tasty and fresh, which is amazing! I've been coming here for years and they never seem to disappoint! I love it

The highlight of today's father daughter lunch at ocean basket, was the great friendly service.<br/ The waitress was excellent!<br/ The food, as usual was great!<br/ <br/ All in all a successful family date
