Dietary restrictions: This cafe offers several different non-dairy milk products including hemp milk, and the menu features tofu and vegan sausage.
Was in Auburn just for one night and googled vegan options which led me to stop here for a vegan breakfast burrito and coffee before hitting the road. The burrito was a delicious mix of tofu scramble, fieldroast, and some veggies and came with some salsa. I didn’t love my americano but that’s okay, was just not as strong as I prefer. My husband had a ham and cheese bagel and a caramel latte that he really enjoyed. Thanks for the easy vegan option that actually had protein, can only sustain so long on avocado toast and fries haha!
Neat little place but I'm not sure why it took 30 minutes to make a panini and breakfast burrito when the place was pretty empty at 130pm. Also, their side salad is a literal joke. It was just mixed greens lettuce with oil ?
Coffee and iced tea was good. However, they charge money for using the Wi-Fi more than a 3 hours and the wifi during that time is very slow. Extremely slow. I personally use cafes to work and expect free, decent speed wifi. If you don't care for that this cafe is very nice and quiet with places to sit and work. Edit: in response to the owner's message, their portal clearly gives pricing options for wifi that grant you wifi for 30 days. If the owner isn't aware of this then perhaps there's some network spoofing occurring.
Once again my mocha was lukewarm and half foam (no exaggeration). The employees are nice but obviously undertrained. Also, they don't tell you until it's to late and it's not on the menu, but they charge .20 for each little packet of sweetener. The peanut butter cookies are really good, though
