Sorano Restaurant - ATWELL

The only thing that disappointed me was how loud the whole restaurant is when it's fairly full. As one reviewer noticed, bringing kids in to a restaurant and being well mannered is one thing, but parents who are not controlling their kids and letting them run wild is a huge no. So intimate dinner with my husband was liking dining in a busy shopping mall. Not a restaurant for those looking for a quiet and romantic meal. And yes it's feral.

Was a bit loud but the food made up for it. Meals ready almost the same as the entrées. Tasty & friendly.

This is a terrific restaurant. Food is beautiful and service is faultless, we enjoyed it so much so that we returned two days later. The address here on Trip Adviser currently states the suburb is Kelmscott which is incorrect and needs to be updated to Atwell.Whilst this place is not set on a cafe strip or somewhere with delightful views, if you enjoy good quality food at reaonable prices then this is a must try!

What this restaurant lacks in location (no views or external ambience), it makes up for in every other regard! The staff were welcoming and friendly, it felt like we'd been invited to a family gathering - exactly how one imagines an Italian get-together should be! It was noisy in the best possible way, everyone was chatting away and seemed happy. The restaurant was busy and bustling but the Service remained efficient and we didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive. All our dishes were excellent. 4 of us had Pasta meals and 1 had squid. I chose the Linguini Noci which was diced chicken, mushrooms and sundried tomatoes in a delicious, generous, cream sauce. I couldn't fault it and as it was Pasta 'specials' night, it only cost $14 - amazing value. Children were welcome. They are licenced but we took our own bottle and were charged $5 corkage. The internal furnishings are simple - nothing pretentious about this restaurant, they are there to provide tasty food in a relaxed setting. I recommend booking as it certainly deserves to be popular.

Absolutely love Soranos. We go at least fortnightly for dinner with our 2 boys. Portions are HUGE! Prices are reasonable. The food is fantastic, not fancy, just good real food. The wait staff are exceptional. Always clean and tidy. The smells are amazing. Fantastic local restaurant.
