Pennys Restaurant - ATTADALE

The food at this restaurant was not well-prepared. The chips with squid were cold and old, making them inedible. The salad was just average. The prices were too high for the very basic and tasteless food that was served.

The food was disappointing. Our large group was mostly unsatisfied with their meals. My supposed Barramundi dish was not authentic - thin and served skin-side up, it wasn't crispy as expected. I have never had Barramundi served in that way before. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

I visited Carilley Estate for the first time and it definitely won't be my last. My family and I went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were greeted by a friendly face and this warm hospitality continued throughout our meal. The staff were attentive and helpful without being too overwhelming. The food was delicious and the wine was excellent. The outdoor garden setting was lovely, and the play area kept the kids entertained.
