Farmers Walnut Street Diner - Atlantic

The service and food were outstanding. We will definitely make a stop here again on our next trip across Iowa.

I have visited Atlantic, Iowa, twice to meet my grandkids, and we've dined at this diner both times. The food is delicious, and the service is outstanding. The atmosphere is pleasant, especially for kids. I would definitely recommend this charming little diner!

If I could, I would give this place a full 5+ stars! My wife enjoyed a Philly cheesesteak with a cup of broccoli cheese soup, while I opted for the patty melt with onion rings. Everything was amazing and fresh. We actually drove in from Des Moines because I was craving cherry pie, but they were out. Maybe you all should consider sharing more in Atlantic?

We showed up during a rush on Sunday, and even though it took a while to get our food, the service was wonderful. The staff did such a fantastic job of making sure everyone was taken care of even during a very busy time of day.
