Council Oak Steaks Seafood

We went out for Christmas dinner with my wife, and we were very impressed. The restaurant is beautiful, and the service was exceptional. My wife ordered the lamb saddle and was absolutely amazed by how it was presented. I chose the prime porterhouse, which was outstanding. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we look forward to returning soon.

I visited this restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday, and I must say I had mixed feelings about the experience. The complimentary bread was a letdown—it was dry and falling apart, tasting like it had been sitting around for a while. I was quite unimpressed with it. However, the appetizers were all delightful, and the entrée we shared was fantastic. We ordered the tomahawk steak, fish, scallops, and a seafood pot, all of which were delicious. For dessert, we tried the crème brûlée and a chocolate cake, both of which were tasty as well. Overall, despite the bread issue, I would definitely return.

Council Oak consistently exceeds expectations! Whether it's the exceptional service, the quality of their ingredients, or the deliciousness of their dishes, it's always impressive. Throughout the COVID mandates and guidelines, they have maintained their integrity, staying true to their values and delivering the same high standard of service and meals. It's definitely a place we look forward to returning to each time we visit AC.

The green beans were great... the gratin had too much salt. I felt my steak was more rare than mid rare. Picture was towards end of meal. The saving grace was the waiter. He went above and beyond. 5 stars for the waitstaff!

Everything was delicious and our server Sydney was the best! It was very busy when we dined in but she made sure to keep checking on us and suggested some very good items from the menu. From the apps to the dessert. Ribeye was phenomenal, desserts to die for! I had the chocolate mousse cake, the sorbet, cheesecake, it was all so good. Can?t wait to go back!
