Best subs in Carteret County, and they are always so nice and accommodating! Place was packed on Labor Day weekend, and they still took great care of everyone and got us some amazing food! The owner makes awesome beach house decorations out of old surfboards, and he is a local legend!

This place is a local fixture in A.B. It's a classic sub-shop, so you'll find the things that you expected to find 20-30 years ago in a sandwich place. Perfect in its simplicity. Perfect bread, balanced meat, and cheese combinations. The atmosphere is nice but you're not going to hang out there with the beach right outside the door. We got the Italian and the Turkey. Both were excellent.

Our favorite place to stop and get lunch while at the beach. Charles even remembered us from last year! It was lovely chatting with him and eating delicious subs.
