The Silver Skillet - Atlanta

First the good. The service was super friendly and really took care of you. The ambiance of the location really made you feel comfortable. The food was amazing. Had the roast beef with collard greens and potatoes. It was some of the best that I have had. Now the bad. The price was way more than what you would expect to pay. A meat and two vegetables with a sweet tea cost me $18. I was glad I went to say that I've been there but I probably will not go back for that price.

Sooooo good! I think I over did it a little..but had to try different things. Food was outstanding! The biscuits were probably some of the best I've ever had. The ham was SALTY but not TOO SALTY and the red-eye gravy..probably could drink it straight

Dining here made me feel as though I 'm in some kind of a movie. Terrific food, amazing vibe! Also, I can 't resist but think of Silver Skillet as a South American Darshini. :p (Breakfast places in Bangalore serving South Indian delicacies are known as 'darshinis '

In the shadows of downtown Atlanta, the food will not disappoint. Furniture is well worn and there is a old diner atmosphere to the place. It is awesome! No white white linens, just good food.

Classic southern diner that has been around forever. Great dining experience the servers are career servers who have been there for a long time for the most part. If you're from out of town and one is Southern dining experience this is certainly on your short list. This diner has been in so many movies over the years. It is truly a special place.
