I enjoyed a delicious lunch, pleasant attentive service, and a quiet atmosphere to visit with a friend over shrimp and grits. While the setting has a simplistic decor, the food served was excellently prepared. Definitely a place for return visits.

The food was so delicious and the service was beyond great. A really tasty night out, perfect for a family or a date night!

The food is good Cajun. Only thing I would suggest is to reduce the volume of sauces on dishes that have them. A lighter touch on that would be an improvement.

I hate to say this amidst the pandemic where the restaurant industry has been hit the hardest but, I agree with some of the other reviews, this place won’t last long. The flatbread appetizer was disgusting and left much to be desired. The fried green tomatoes were not just small, but thinly sliced and they charge $3/tomato... lol that’s just wild to me. The cocktail menu is so strange. Who offers Long Island Ice tea and Hurricanes on a “French” menu? That’s something you’d get at a trashy bar quite honestly. They need to work on elevating that. We ordered the old fashion on the menu and the server/bartender SHOOK the cocktail. SHOOK! In what world do you ever shake an old fashion, Manhattan, vieux carre, etc... Oh wait, I did see that somewhere, it was on Bar Rescue... where this place is headed. Spirit forward cocktails are always stirred not shaken. On top of that, there was an insane amount of sugar it was unbearable to drink. This place takes the award for worst bar offerings in the city. I ordered a glass of wine and it was a most a solid 4oz pour. We asked the server the difference in the flavor profile between the cab and red zin, he said, I don’t like Cabernet but the Zinfandel isn’t bad. What? Who says that? Good job, way to sell. When we arrived there was no music on and it was dead silent and brightly lit. Kind of had the ambiance of a cafeteria... and the food was fitting for it. Just an overall less than mediocre experience. We will not be back and will certainly be warning our friends and family to steer clear of this place. Go to C&S next door! They staff is actually knowledgeable and the food is out of this world! Don’t waste your time here.
