Terrapin Taproom - Atlanta

Seven in our party wanted to sit down and relax and get something to eat before we fly. Set our orders and waited and waited. After all, food arrived, but never received 2 meals. Say that an ordered menu item was not available, but very defensive waitress, not my fault, took the order anyway. When we asked for the bill over $100, only credit cards said no cash. How can this place survive at the airport is a secret for me.

DISCLAIMER: If you are going on a game day, prepare for at least an hour wait, to the very last minute. Food was absolutely delicious. There is something for everyone including children (but not vegetarians, even some of the sides have meat in them). Our table had ribs, chicken wings, chicken tenders, and brisket. Now the brisket comes in 2 ways: lean or fat! That fattier brisket was amazing. You don't need any sauce for the food either but they do have a regular BBQ sauce, spicy BBQ sauce and spicy vinegar to add to your food. The side dishes were very good as well, about 8 to choose from including macaroni and cheese, baked beans and collard greens. They also have their in-house Terrapin beer on tap with flavor options too. Being in Georgia I had peach of course. Will definitely be back.

Dinner before the game. We entered and were immediately greeted. Noticed the place was slammed but they got us seated quickly. Our waitress was fantastic. I watched as she worked her fully loaded section with ease. We expected a long wait but everything came out quickly food and drink. And our food was fantastic. This will be our to go game place at the battery as they easily had it figured out while other places we visited we overwhelmed.

The food was pretty good, nothing to rush out or changed plans to have. The service was lack luster. After the food came (with which there was an issue) the server was MIA for about 15-20min.I SPECIFICALLY asked for NO mustard on my sandwich. When it was placed in front of me (as you can also see in the pic) there was mustard on the sandwich and it appears that there was an attempt to remove it. NOT happy

Sun stricken after the 8th inning we were really hoping to find refuge in Terrapin. Cool off with some cold drinks and great Food. Manager refused to let us sit inside. He said he didn't have a server for the table of five inside where the AC was. Of course 15 minutes later the game ends and he seats folks inside. He used us as a prop to make the place look busy. I'm sure this is their policy/strategy. Money before customers. The whole place is over commercialized and generic. The bbq was mid at best. We all opted to have our brisket chopped rather than sliced. What we got was leftover pieces from the slices; mostly fat. No jalapeños in the jalapeño corn bread. Again, just generic. I can't tell you how the beer was since we were too hot and dehydrated to drink anything but water.
