I highly recommend it. The music was really cool too... sort of down-tempo chill vibes house music. Real nice.Food: 5/5
Great food and service. Huge portions. Spanakopita is the best we've ever had.Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options.
This place is nice. We got the most basic things on the menu: The Lamb Burger, The Gyro, and a dessert with a very long name. Everything was tasty and fresh. They serve breakfast all day which is very interesting. I have to go back and try other things on the menu. Our waiter was super sweet and didn't make me feel silly for not knowing how to pronounce certain words. The restaurant itself is clean, modern and spacious. I'll be back.
Honestly, Taste of Greece is so close to being a fantastic place to dine, yet holds itself back from achieving this for reasons I will never know. This is probably the most well-deserved 3-star review I will ever write, but with an asterisk that says with just a tad bit more effort, this place is 5 stars without question. The interior is bland, and it did not echo the Greek culture even slightly. The two TVs they had were on wrestling and a Spanish channel. Our server was not rude at all, but also never smiled or interacted with us in any way other than the basic obligations what drink/what food/here is your food/here is your check .The food was decent. Half our table ordered from the breakfast menu (which is available all day), half ordered Greek cuisine. We were all satisfied, but not one of the five of us were wowed by our food. I ordered the Best Gyro in Town, which was good. The fries were absolutely amazing though!Overall, this restaurant checks the boxes and was decent. I would absolutely love to see this place thrive with a pretty minimal extra effort in decor, personality, and homage to its namesake. Being in such close proximity to the Fox Theater, I can easily see this little restaurant taking off to the moon!
So nice we did it twice! After arriving to the Atlanta airport around 9:30pm, we needed to make a restaurant stop for the 5 of us. We all agreed on this lovely Mediterranean spot, as they had flexible hours and offered a variety of plates to satisfy our large group. The restaurant atmosphere is spacious, clean, and inviting. The waitstaff are so friendly and efficient! After doing some touristy things a few days later, we needed to find another place to eat. We were so impressed with Taste of Greece that we decided to go back for lunch! We all ordered something new for our second round, and the meals were equally as exciting, delicious, filling and impressive. The tzatziki sauce is perfect on everything. The pita bread is perfection. They even have coffee and baklava, which is to die for. I highly recommended this spot for its nutritious and filling plates, ambiance, flexible hours, and generous waitstaff.
