Takorea - Atlanta

The food was excellent, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant. Everything was well seasoned, and the Elvis Presley Sundae was a perfect end to our meal. There were a couple of slight errors in the food order, but the staff was quick to apologize and correct the mistakes.

Takorea is an eclectic blend of Mexican and Korean cooking styles that provides a fun and healthy way to enjoy both. A broad menu, with a lot of flexibility to mix ingredients and an ample bar list. Highly recommend getting a Build A Bop and trying the Tempura Sweet Potatoes as an appetizer. Ask for Chris as your waiter he was outstanding!

The service was great but my rice was undercooked for the bop.

Great variety with a Korean flare. The apps (sprouts and sweet potatoes) were each great and had wonderful sauces accompanying them. We split a Bop and some tacos and it was way too much food. Right amount of spice. Service was good and fit the place well. Nice bar and draft selection to fit multiple tastes.

Travis, our server was fantastic. Attentive, respectful. Offered suggestions. Really made it a very pleasant night out. Food, as always was tasty. Served at the appropriate temperatures. Drinks were delicious and on National Margarita Day, a little cheaper than normal. Thanks! We’ll be back.
