We had a reservation at 7 PM, but they had run out of branzino, leaving me with only the cauliflower or the lobster with noodles as options. I opted for the lobster, which was decent but didn’t justify the nearly $40 price.
To start, we shared the Wagyu Sope, which was simply amazing; we could have easily gone for a third! For my main course, I ordered the new pan-seared Branzino while my friend chose the Carne Asada cooked medium. Personally, I found the Branzino slightly overcooked, as some parts tasted more charred than crispy. However, it was beautifully accompanied by a sunchoke puree that paired excellently with the fish. As for the Carne Asada, my only critique is that it could have used a bit of salt. The dish had great elements, but a light sprinkle of salt could have really enhanced the flavors. For dessert, we shared churros, which were fantastic and perfectly complemented by the ice cream. I was a bit disappointed that the hostesses did not acknowledge my friend's birthday, despite it being clearly noted in the reservation. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would love to return to try more dishes. A special thank you to Jesus, the food runners, and the rooftop hostesses who helped make our experience enjoyable!
The food and drinks were delicious. Ambience was nice. I will be returning to enjoy the rooftop!
Chef Santiago is a master of the wood fired grill. One of his signature dishes is a grilled cauliflower steak which is excellent but the dry aged beef or my personal favorite, the branzino, are outstanding. In the deserts the basque style cheesecake served with tomatillo sauce will melt your mind.
I have to be real, I was super disappointed by the whole experience at this restaurant. There are so many incredible places to eat in Atlanta avoid this place at all costs. First, we booked reservations about a week in advance and I received more than 5 reminders and confirmation emails, text messages, and even a phone call. I had confirmed all 5 times and arrived to the restoration with my full party of 4 on time. Location sketchy to say the least, the entrance is tucked away our uber driver dropped us off in a back parking lot where we had to walk down an alley to access to the front door. Food meh. The prices are outrages for the quality of food, I 'll give them credit on the unique flavors, but just because the presentation is gorgeous doesn 't mean the taste will match. This was the case for 3/5 dishes we ordered. Whatever you do, do not order the Lobster Ceviche the coconut was just wrong. Service Mediocre at best. Our server was kind, but when we asked her for recommendations she literally read everything off the menu in order. Super unhelpful. Then as our main dishes come out, she brings us the check and says No rush, but we 're closing the restaurant down because there 's a GAS LEAK in the kitchen. That 's umm mortifying. So we spent $400 on our meal to get kicked out within 45 minutes of reservation. Ambiance Stunning. Restrooms Disgusting. They were filthy with terrible lighting. I would never recommend this place.
