Mcalister's Deli - Atlanta

I've visited other locations of McAlister’s where I was able to request extra dressing, so it’s confusing that this location has such a problem. The staff seems unaware of their own policy, as I’ve received conflicting information; one person says it's not possible, while another says it is. Even the manager has been off with their responses. They advised me to order directly from their website, but that also didn’t offer the option for extra dressing. It feels like they’re making a simple request into a huge hassle, and unfortunately, I’ve given them multiple chances to get this right. I’m at the point where I don’t want to order from them anymore if I can't get what I've paid for. The manager didn't apologize when I reached out regarding their customer service, nor did he offer any sort of discount for my troubles. They really need to improve their training before this becomes a bigger issue.

I thought I’d give it another chance the next day since I really wanted that potato. I returned at 7:15 PM, well before closing time, so I figured it shouldn’t be an issue. However, I was disappointed to find that they were out of baked potatoes! This experience has made it clear to me that I won't be dining at McAlister's again. They closed early and then didn’t have what I wanted. Instead, I decided to try Blaze Pizza in the same plaza, and I’m glad I did! Blaze Pizza is fantastic. So, if McAlister's lets you down, definitely give Blaze a shot!

Excellent soup, salad, and sandwich place! I love it. It is a peaceful experience. Over many visits, I have had the Savannah Chopped salad, Southwestern? salad, tomato soup, brookie, cookies, and chicken salad on croissant sandwich (and pair it with a cucumber salad light on flavor). The tea is not too sweet. If you are looking for a sweet, sweet tea, this is not your place...lolI have ordered online/app, ordered (in the more distant past) on the phone, and in person. I have taken to go and dined in. It's not full service. Kind people. Nice casual space with pretty good food.

If I could have given them zero stars I would have. I literally waited 25 mins for my order, no lie. My receipt time was 2:26 I got my sandwich at 2:51!!! One person who ordered at least 5 mins after me got his food before me when I went to the counter to ask they said my order was next only to have 2 more people who ordered after me get their food. And I literally only got a sandwich potato salad. l NEVER return to this location again.

First, the drive-thru experience is frustrating. They often don't acknowledge you at all—today, I was at the window for 10 minutes without anyone coming over to say they’d be with me shortly. They saw me sitting there but just ignored me. So, I ended up going inside to pick up my $66 order, only to find my bag was double knotted and my food was both wrong and burnt. When I asked for the toppings and extras that were supposed to come with my spuds, it took another 15 minutes for them to bring a side from the back. I eventually left without getting it. I've also previously discussed with Terry how the nachos frequently come out soggy because they load them up with cheese, tomatoes, black olives, and green onions—it's a problem that needs to be addressed. At this point, I feel the need to escalate my concerns to corporate. To top it all off, they blast loud rap music at night, which only adds to the chaos and leads to even more mistakes with orders. Honestly, I wouldn’t feed this food to my dog!
