Jct. Kitchen - Atlanta

JCT. Kitchen is on my list of places to try since arrival in Atlanta in June. This place was not disappointed. The outdoor seats, the service and the food were all fantastic. We started our meal with the devil eggs that were perfect. They were full of tan and taste. The ground buckets were light and fluffy. I ordered the Day Boat, which consisted of grilled trout that consisted of potato puree with olives and sofrito. Fresh dill, parsley and chives gave him a herb layer to an already tasteful dish. The fish was perfectly cooked. I usually don't order trout, but I'm so glad I did that night. My husband ordered the fried chicken. In Atlanta it seems that any other restaurant claims to have the best friend chicken. In this case, JCT delivers.. It was among the best I had everywhere. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was tender and moist with a light dough that gave it the perfect crunch factor without being too heavy or overlaid. The drinks were also fantastic. JCT is just one of my favorite dining experiences in Atlanta, and I look forward to returning and exploring more menu.

At first I have to say how beautifully decorated and unique ambience this restaurant. The decor and feeling alone was enough to satisfy me before eating. I was amazed. The court tasted simple yet complex. It was a light dish, a chicken quarter with greenery and homemade beets. The meal was served in a delicious sauce with the right balance of flavors. The staff was friendly and checked if something was necessary.
