Cosy atmosphere with incredible old world dishes as well as fresh, modern spins. No way to pass this restaurant for everything. If you are a fan of these family-Italian restaurants where the owner takes your order and the food is better than your grandmother.... this is your heaven.

I choose a lot of culinary experiences by researching reviews as I feel that they are very important for potential diners as well as the restaurant property... and so it begins. Once you go into the door of this charming, family-run place, your eyes go into overdrive as you are not sure what you see first. The eclectic and unique decor adds to the energetic ATMOSPHERE, which is highlighted from Oldie, but Goodie music from Sinatra to Bee Gees. At 9 o'clock the fog machine starts and prepare for a lot of chair dancing and singing-a-longs! Just wait until “Sweet Caroline” plays.... the whole restaurant gets into action! This is an Italian restaurant like no other! The SERVICE is amazing and spot on! The entire staff works in tandem to ensure that your waterglass never goes dry and when drinking wine; the glass is filled regularly. Recommendations will help with the request and suggestions of starters such as Reggiano Parmigiano, Pesto Olives to make decisions. MENU options are many and delicious. I suggest to order different dishes to go around and share as it does for a fun evening when you try a lot of food. They always highlight their authentic dishes with the freshest ingredients to ensure the best culinary experience. The Caprese Salad is beautiful and delicious. The Pappardelle Sinatra is tasty to the belly, embroidered with fresh tomatoes and herbs. Lobster Ravioli has not only lobster meat in the pasta, but you get a small lobster-filled tail. I could go on. And don't let me start on the oversized Martiniglas with spumoni or the Panna Cotta with fresh Blueberry Compote. Finish everything with a shot of an in-house recipe from Limoncello... Bravo! The OWNERS, Giovanni and Gale, lead the floor and kitchen to ensure that their integrity and excellence comes with every dish. With more than 20 years in business, their amazing knowledge, how to make a restaurant together with their love, what they seem to do with any interaction with their patrons. It's when you eat at your moms. And if you don't want to eat inside, there's always out. In total, EXPERIENCE makes a visit to Il Localino and then when you leave you start the countdown for your next visit. My husband and I have been here for over ten years and have celebrated many birthdays here as well as entertaining city guests. I published pictures on Instagram and Facebook this weekend and it was interesting to read comments from so many who explains “my favorite restaurant”! Food at Il Localino is a true experience... great food, a crazy fun atmosphere with a great backdrop for many memories.

A unique culinary experience. The food is elevated (to fit with prices), but the atmosphere and the ambience are pure camp. Tacky Decor, obnoxic music, obligatory novelty hats, and a disco ball / smoke machine should be a total catastrophe, but combined with the excellence of food and really great waiters, it all combined to make your visit a lot of fun! It's quite claustrophobic in there, but it was rather a slight inconvenience than anything.

We had the best culinary experience here! The service was exceptional and the food was phenomenal. We had the mussels, Branzino Filet, Hummer Ravioli, Cheese Tortellini, Tiramisu and Lemon Sorbet and they were all for dying! The cocktails are also very well made and the wine we had was excellent. I'm looking forward to coming back.

We had an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner here. The food was exceptional. The decoration was very impressive and bringing romantic vibes. The restaurant itself is a hidden place behind a small door. I loved my experience here.
