Il Bacio - Atlanta

During our weekend stay at a nearby hotel, we stumbled upon this charming little restaurant and absolutely loved it! The kids enjoyed spaghetti and meatballs, while we ordered a large pizza and a calzone. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed, and the staff was friendly without being intrusive. The location was convenient and easy to find. Everything we tried was delicious and full of flavor, and the service was impeccable. We can't wait to go back!

Hmmm. Where do I start? My girlfriend I went to this location on 9/29 and ordered a variety of food. This was our first time visiting so we wanted to try a few items. We ordered a 1. Caesar Salad 2. Baked Ziti 3. Calamari 4. Pepperoni Mushroom Calzone 5. Focaccia 6. Marsala Cream Chicken Pasta Upon ordering, there was one man in the front taking orders and there was no one else in the restaurant at the time. As far as hospitality, he wasn 't friendly but he wasn 't mean. Simply put, we knew he didn 't want to be there. The wait was fairly short (15 min. or so). We get home and as soon as I go to open my food, the picture below is what I see. I am in immediate disgust and my partner calls the restaurant to inform them and to discuss a refund for the food. The manager immediately knows what bread we are referring to without us even saying much. She responds by apologizing and here 's the kicker, if I am being honest with you, that bread has just been sitting there for 3 months and I 've been telling them it needs to be thrown out I will have a staff meeting ASAP about this I can assure you that your other food is not contaminated so we won 't give you a refund We politely decline keeping the food and ask if we can bring all of it back for a refund. We were told no because the food is made fresh so the issue with the bread has nothing to do with the other dishes. Um, do you see this bread? If this bread was in your bag of food, would you trust that the rest is magically sanitary. My assumption, that a lawsuit for them is worth compromising someone 's health during this time.

I had a craving for red sauce pasta, so I ordered the Farfalle e Gambaretti, opting for a small portion. However, it turned out to be quite generous, especially after indulging in the bread. The sauce was rich and flavorful, although the bits of unmelted cheese were somewhat unusual. The risotto selections on the menu also looked enticing; I’ll have to sample that on my next visit. The menu features great options at reasonable prices. While it may not be the most upscale pasta around, the generous portions make for an excellent lunch choice. I’m definitely looking forward to returning to Il Bacio to explore more of their offerings!

I ended up at this restaurant while parked for another reason and decided to give a "real" pizza a try without moving my car. First, let's talk about the ambiance. This place is quite nice! The staff was friendly, the table settings were great, and there are plenty of windows for people-watching in the busy parking lot, which added a fun element to the experience. I ordered the Parmese Pizza, but unfortunately, it wasn't to my liking. It cost $15 for a small, and I found the gorgonzola cheese to be overwhelmingly strong. In my humble, inexperienced pizza opinion, sometimes less is more. Overall, I just didn’t enjoy it. However, I noticed that the pasta dishes at nearby tables looked amazing, so I plan to return to try those. But the pizza? It wasn’t my favorite.

This place is located across from Home Depot in a plaza like center. The environment is very casual with 4 TV 's in each corner Incase you 'd like to watch sports. I got the medium sized BBQ chicken pizza $17), the crust was perfect for me, crunchy. I also thought the flavor of the pizza was well, it was a little plain of course the recipe is just Bbq, chicken and mozzarella but it was a good plain .. if that makes sense. They didn 't over do it with the BBQ, it was the perfect amount. Our waiter was great as well and they even serve gelato!!
