Havana Sandwich Shop - Atlanta

We had heard so much about this restaurant that we finally decided to check it out. The service was prompt, and the cashier was friendly, but unfortunately, the food fell short of our expectations. The bread didn’t taste authentic—it seemed like it came from the store instead of being made in-house. The meat was overly salty, and the sandwich was lacking in flavor. Considering the prices, I anticipated better quality, taste, and presentation. So far, the best authentic Cuban food we've experienced has been in Miami.

The food was amazing! I ordered the complete Cuban sandwich plate, and the sandwich was steaming hot and absolutely delicious. The yellow rice and black beans had incredible flavor. I placed my order through DoorDash, and it was truly worth every penny. I will definitely be ordering again!

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and I couldn't be more pleased. I tried the Cuban sandwich platter, along with a chicken, jalapeño, and cheese empanada, a mushroom empanada, a chicken croquette, and flan. Everything was incredibly tasty, very reasonably priced, and the portions were quite generous. I'm actually writing this review just after finishing my meal!

This restaurant offers genuine Cuban cuisine in a vibrant and family-friendly setting, along with incredibly friendly staff! I highly recommend checking it out!

I hadn't been to this restaurant since the late 80s, but I'm happy to say it was just as amazing now as it was back then. My favorite dish is the half Cuban sandwich served with yellow rice and black beans.
