Hankook Taqueria - Atlanta

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the whole city. The taco/ fry combo is my go to order. Every type of taco is so good and I love that they have daily specials (and the fries are superb). It’s definitely a “hole in the wall” vibe but it’s so worth it to go because it’s delicious. When people ask what the best “local” spot is near me, I tell them to go to Hankook.

An absolute gem on the upper west side. This korean mexican fusion spot is packed for lunch every day, for good reason, but you get food so fast it's not a problem. You pick an item (tacos, burrito, or bowl), then pick protein, and can make it a meal with sesame fries. They also have some stand-alone items like bibimbop or fried sweet potatoes. This place is the best type of hole in the wall. Clean, plenty of seating, fast friendly service, generous portions, and most importantly, the food is amazing.Parking: There is limited parking, and it is usually busy during lunch, but don't let that deter you. This is a gem.

This is one of the places I missed the most when I moved away from Atlanta! I was in town this weekend, and I stopped by with some friends. We ordered two taco combos (shrimp and chicken) and a side of a sesame fries. As always, the food was great! The atmosphere is super chill, and the service is fast. Prices are reasonable! There’s also a parking lot, which is free and convenient. The real highlight is the sesame fries! It’s my favorite thing on the menu, and if you’re only going to get one thing, it should definitely be the fries!

I've wanted to visit Hankook Taqueria for ages, and I'm so glad I finally did. The food here is absolutely incredible. The Kokuma fries are a must-try; you won't find anything like them anywhere else. The combination of Korean and Mexican flavors is truly underrated. Oh, and I later discovered they were featured in an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. You know you're doing something right when Guy Fieri raves about your food. Bravo!

I was in search of something new, and I found it! The food was excellent, and the staff were very attentive, taking the time to assist me as a first-time visitor. They offered fantastic suggestions. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5!
