Located in a Publix shopping center on Cascade Rd, Gocha is a hidden gem. The restaurant was bustling when we arrived and the wait time was 30-40 minutes, so we opted to dine at their food truck in the parking lot instead. We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing food and beautiful presentation, exactly as depicted on their website. The menu offered a wide selection, leaving us excited to try something new on our next visit.
I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, but the wait was always long. Fortunately, today was different. My wife and I were seated quickly and our orders were taken promptly. The menu had a great variety of options for everyone. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the creole fried fish and potatoes. The creole sauce was amazing! I can't wait to come back again soon.
Initially unsure about the location of this restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. We opted for the trio with a side of speck, allowing us to sample a variety of dishes. Everything we tried was delicious! Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor.
We went to our annual day, which took place this year on the commemorative day. I guess as it was just us two, we immediately took a place, no reservation required. they explained the menu and how their service works, which made me think that they ask many customers the same or try to complain about the same thing, and they give them everything they need to know before themselves so that they are all on the same page- that their menu is a bit long, so take their time picking; no they can not change their order; no refunds; etc. it was nice to see the efficiency and that they had a standard for themselves and for their customers. the hostess and our waitress were friendly and helpful. we even interacted with the manager who was friendly and helped the guests in the mix. eating was very good and tasteful. they have interesting/unique dishes that I want to go back and try! they have a Moimosa special where they can make the bottle champagner and mixer for $40 and make as many mimosas as they can at their table. but next time I think I'll try 1-2 cocktails. the music was also for us millennials (also those of us who were born mid 80s to mid 90s) – r
I visited this establishment on a Saturday afternoon for brunch! There was a 45-60 minute wait upon my arrival. That was quite alright as they added me to the wait list and texted me when my table was ready. The staff was phenomenal! They made sure my homegirl and I had everything we needed. Lawrence was such a jewel. He was very patient, friendly, helpful, and professional. He checked in on us frequently and made sure he answered all our questions. I ordered the shrimp and grits. It was delicious! The strawberry mimosa added a nice touch. I ordered the cauliflower wings to go and they were really good as well. I look forward to returning in the near future! Lawrence thank you for going above and beyond for us! Amazing job!!
