The menu is scarce but the food and drinks were great. It would be great if we could add a protein to the pasta dishes but there's absolutely no modifications. So if you want protein, pick a dish that already has it. Appetizer I had the Fritto Misto Di Mare (which is fried calamari, shrimp, branzino, lemon salt) and it was seasoned really good, I was surprised how good it was. Entree I couldn't decide between the Cappelletti Spinaci and Linguine al Pesto e Gamberi so I ordered both and omg I'm glad I did they were both so so good. I ate all of the Cappelletti Spinaci and took the remainder of the other home. Not sure if we'll go back but it was worth it.
You want the 5 pastas of Rome? This is the spot. In Atlanta, there are only two restaurants out of place and this is one of them. It belongs in New York with the best of them for serving up the most authentic bucatini all'amatriciana (they use actual Guanciale). Excellence, ladies and gents. If you want New Jersey style alfredo garbage...get outttta here. This is real pasta.
Had friends visiting Atlanta for dragoncon. One of them has a limited palate so I didn’t have many options that fit. Forza storico passed muster and we all loved it. Terrific cocktails and dessert that was tasty and just pushed us over the top in terms of being full. A tucked away gem I will definitely be returning to. Perfect for casual drinks or a date night. 5 stars!
Our server was not the friendliest. She was initially cordial at best. During our meal, she became less cordial and maybe annoyed. I am not sure why but she was not genuine. There was an issue with paying digitally and she acted like we purposely tried to leave without paying. I still tipped her $20 (my meal was $60) in spite of her attitude. I don’t plan to return. The restaurant is cute and I enjoyed my food but she completely turned me off to going back.
Pros:Food was amazing; a bit pricey for the portion would like to try more on the menu! I had the Tagliatelle and a Hibiscus MargaritaCons:God the service was so bad lol. We were seated outside (which was fine) but only one of us got seat cushions and we had to request the rest of them. Also, when our order was being taken, our waiter took our appetizer order and my order, and promptly left with no explanation? We were so confused, and 10 minutes later the food comes and my friends still haven’t ordered! On top of that, they didn’t serve us with utensils so we had to ask for that too. Also if you pay by phone it’s an extra charge. We asked the waiter about this and he said there wasn’t (which is incorrect, you will see it on your phone). All in all, would come back for the food, but the wait staff just seemed uncommunicative with each other and with us, causing a lot of confusion/frustration.
