The portions were generous, let me emphasize that—it was a lot of food for sure! Each dish that my wife and I ordered was more than enough for one person, so we shared and ended up taking home leftovers, which tasted even better the next day. The brown gravy was absolutely amazing; you can put it on just about anything, and I mean it’s fantastic! The prices were reasonable, and we ended up spending over $130 because I enjoy hot sake, beer, and mixed drinks. The restaurant, Fortune Cookie, has a clean and inviting layout with a nice, relaxed atmosphere. If you're in Atlanta, you absolutely need to try this place. It can get busy, so consider ordering takeout. My wife has never liked shrimp, beef, or chicken in Egg Foo Young—she found it gross before, but now she loves it and can't wait to have it again! A little tip: if you try the Egg Foo Young, sweet and sour chicken, or pepper steak, add some cayenne pepper if you like heat—bring some with you! Clearly, I enjoy my spices! - Ron B.

During my time living nearby, I used to visit this restaurant once a week. I returned recently after several years and was pleased to discover that the fantastic food and prompt, friendly service I remembered were just as good as ever. You really can't go wrong with Fortune Cookie.

Every time we order, the food is consistently excellent. I generally wouldn't recommend dining at just any Chinese restaurant, but this specific place will not disappoint you.

I 'm baffled that this place doesn 't have 5 stars. I 've been going here for years and I can say without reservation that Fortune Cookie has some of the best Chinese food (This kind of Chinese food most Americans are familiar with) in Atlanta. I 've tried many items on the menu and have NEVER been disappointed. My favorite dish is their Mongolian Beef. It 's the best I 've ever had in my entire life. So delicious! Their hot and sour soup is also the best I 've ever had anywhere. Lastly, you HAVE to try their hot mustard sauce. I think they must make it fresh in-house because it is the most incredible hot mustard I 've had anywhere..ever. Half the reason I got here is for the hot mustard sauce. It 'll clear out those sinuses instantly. The one negative thing I 'll add, just for the sake of honestly, is that the dining room can get a bit noisy when the restaurant is busy. But it 's worth it.
