Avellino's Wood Fire Pizzeria Brookhaven

The staff here is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The Margherita pizza is outstanding, and it's hands down the best white pizza I've ever tasted. The crust is exceptional, the sauce is packed with flavor, and the quality of the cheese and basil is fantastic.

Don't waste your time... The food is decent, if you manage to get it. We’ve been regulars for years, but the service is so poor that we often have to remind the servers about our orders after waiting 45 minutes. We bring our kids, just like many other families do, but after 90 minutes without any pizza, the kids can hardly sit still. The main issue is that they're such a popular local spot that there's no incentive for them to improve. They stay busy whether they provide good service or not. We’ll be heading to Fellini's next time for much better service!

Without a doubt, this is the best pizza place in Brookhaven. The pizzas are made quickly and always taste great. I've never had a problem with any orders, whether dining in or taking out. The staff is incredibly friendly and genuinely cares about your experience here.

It was so incredible that it actually frustrated me, haha. A few weeks ago, I met the owner while volunteering at the Peachtree Creek Greenway. He kindly invited me to his restaurant and offered to buy me a beer. About a week later, I decided to check it out, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. My neighbor and I shared a pizza, while my son had spaghetti and ravioli. We also enjoyed a lemon dessert and coffee. The food and the overall dining experience were so amazing that it made me upset I hadn’t discovered this place sooner. Courtney served us at the bar, and she was fantastic. Thank you all!

I visit at least once a week. It's my favorite spot for pizza and a glass of wine with friends.
