Ammazza - Atlanta

I've been a loyal customer for years, but during my last pickup order, I noticed a significant issue. While the pizza tasted good, the portion sizes have shrunk dramatically. Instead of the usual round box, my pizza was delivered in a square one. When I inquired about it, they assured me it was the same size, which is hard to believe. The round box used to be quite large, with substantial slices. For the square box to be the same size, it would actually need to be larger, yet it was noticeably smaller. I ended up paying $30 for this tiny pizza??? Prices have gone up while the size has gone down? I feel completely deceived.

The food here is outstanding, unless the chef happens to be unwell—then things can go differently, as you might expect. The service depends on you, so make sure to advocate for your own needs and don’t hesitate to get up and grab more if you require it. The ambiance is a big highlight, featuring a glass window into the kitchen and community-style seating. This place has become a family favorite!

The pizzas are quite good, especially the Vegan Giardino, which I enjoyed even though I'm not vegan. However, there are a couple of downsides: first, you'll need to take your pizza home and crisp up the slices in a frying pan before eating them. Second, they are overpriced – $30 for a pizza is just too much! Plus, they've recently started charging an extra $2.50 for carryout.

Great staff, vibe is wonderful, and food is great. It's great to go to a pizza place, and they have an entire vegan side of the menu. Great for large groups or intimate date night.

If you're looking for the best vibes, good indoor AND outdoor seating, and phenomenal gluten-free pizza... look no further. Can't say enough good things about this place!!If you're vegetarian, get the Adriana w/o meat!!
