Sapawe Corner Diner & Motel - Atikokan

If I could give 10 stars I would! Back in November I got caught up in a bad snow storm while leaving fort frances to return home to thunder bay.

This was amazing! Homemade comfort food. Out where you would never expect it. Worth a drive out from Atikokan any day. I am going to eat the dessert now. I couldn t wait to write the review

Had breakfast here last week before entering Quetico. Very clean place with friendly service. Everything was cooked to order. Not a huge variety but what is on the menu is done well.

I dropped by the Sapawe Corner Diner and Motel for a late breakfast, my first visit since this location re-opened and I was pleasantly suprised. Sausages, eggs, and rye toast exactly as ordered. Side order of grilled mushrooms better than I could have hoped for..coffee was good and the owner informative. I didn't stop at the motel but it's handy for fishing in Niobe Lake. Pricing was lower end, great value for money. Good place to stop between Thunder Bay and Fort Frances at the corner of Highways 11 and 623

The food at this restaurant was amazing, and the owner and her staff were delightful. We ended up having to wait for a tow truck, but we passed the time by enjoying dinner and chatting with the owner, her staff, and their friends. The people were lovely, just like the food.
