Moone High Cross Inn - Athy

The Moone High Cross is a charming pub with a beautiful interior and exterior, accompanied by friendly service. Unfortunately, it was disappointing to discover that there was no food available, even though it had been advertised.

We held a fantastic pre-wedding luncheon at The Moone High Cross Inn last September. The food, provided by the in-house restaurant Bread and Beer, was excellent, as were the drinks! William, the publican, went above and beyond to make sure every guest had a great experience. His thoughtful gestures, such as helping us find musicians for the wedding and regularly checking in with us, really meant a lot. If you’re searching for a beautiful venue for a group celebration, I highly recommend The Moone High Cross Inn!

The restaurant staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the food was simply delicious! It was a memorable experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed dining alongside the locals at their favorite place.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner last night, just a day after stumbling upon this hidden gem for a pint. The food was impeccable and the service was friendly. I had the salmon for my main course, while my wife started with a goat cheese dish, and then we both savored an amazing steak. It was the best meal I've had in ages, and the atmosphere was equally fantastic. Keep up the great work, and thank you!
