The Left Bank - Athlone

Not kid friendly! My husband and I used to love it, but when we went with my kids (11yrs 7yrs) they said they were full when clearly had room. Didn’t seem to want kids there. Loaf’s and Fishes were amazing and VERY friendly.

Lovely restaurant with great food and ambiance. Much bigger on the inside than first appearance from the outside. Friendly and polite serving staff serving fresh and tasty food. Great selection of craft beers and wines also. Would recommend, followed by a visit to Sean's Bar next door (the oldest pub in the world).

Really enjoyed our meal last week, food was delicious and service very pleasant. Managed a couple of cocktails too which were great. Will definitely be back if we visit Athlone in the future.
