Terranova's Athens

Great local Italian restaurant! Fits through and overnight in Athens. Can't remember a better meal on the street. The homemade bread is to die, and the side salad was crisp, cold and Italian dressing was perfect. I can't say enough about our server, Lexie. She was exceptionally personal and always there when she needed to be without intrusive. Will definitely return when we stay in town.

I was initially frustrated because they couldn't find our reservation, leading to a wait of an hour and a half. However, the food was excellent, and the waitress was very professional. Toward closing time, I noticed a few glances from the staff, as they seemed unhappy that we hadn't received our food yet. Despite that, we all enjoyed our meals and plan to return in the future.

I absolutely love this place, but I really wish they would serve their dishes with the amazing blueberry sauce on them. I understand if you might think otherwise—I used to think the same thing until I tried it, and I realized it perfectly complements the flavors. That delicious blueberry sauce is just what the meat dishes need! And by the way, I’m a big fan of bread too.

This is the ideal spot for anyone seeking an authentic, high-quality Italian dining experience. The ambiance is genuinely welcoming. While the prices are a bit higher than I usually prefer, the quality of the food justifies it if you have a taste for this cuisine.

Fried green tomatoes... outstanding! Grilled Salmon was a killer dish too! Will definitely go back!
