Purple Chop Stix - Athens

My son and I ate here for the first time last night. We didn't know it was just a reservation, but they had room and sat. We had the Sushi Nori reels and the red curry, mine with tofu and be with chicken. We had a house salad each. Food and service were great. We loved the decor and mood of the place. And the cherry on top is that from sushi nori rolls with purple chipsticks, what fun!

Are you here for food or for the groovy environment? Maybe both. We ate brunch. The food was lovingly prepared and presented with LOTS of vegetables and fruits, which I like. Artworks and unique creative accents. And of course, purple. We ate on the terrace along the creek. There were only 3 of us, but we had a reservation for Brunch. This is a strange thing to make a review, but I felt like I was eating surrounded by LOVE. I could feel it. As the food was presented, the room, the server. The vibration is very high and pure here. This place is like returning to flower power and the 1960s. Very, very sweet.

Definitely one of the best places to eat in Athens. Maybe the best. It's expensive, but you get what you pay and man the food is phenomenal. The waiting staff is super friendly and fun to interact. You have a really nice outdoor seating area, which is well shaded and comfortable. The outside seat is not just a terrace. There are veranda seats and a small pavilion back in the woods and they even have a few tables right on a small walk bridge over the brook.

Your food is from this world. Also the owners Gabe and Asia are the most friendly people I have ever met in the public restaurant.

Purple Chopstix is a wonderful restaurant! I love the atmosphere and the back patio is exceptional! I could talk about the food but I'm not the best at describing as other reviewers have. So what I'd like to focus on is the variety, which is definitely as described: eclectic...and well prepared and delicious! The mushroom soup is divine. Make a reservation, bring a bottle of wine and have an excellent meal prepared by a very talented chef and waitstaff who are also delightful!
