Pauley's - Athens

While passing through Athens on our way from Augusta to Atlanta, we decided to take a detour and stopped in front of Pauley’s to explore the area. After checking out the menu, we ordered the chicken and sausage gumbo, which had a perfect balance of heat and flavor. For our salad, we chose one featuring strawberries, walnuts, green apples, and spinach, and we added chicken to it. It was crisp and refreshing. We concluded our meal with an apple pie crepe, which was complemented by cinnamon and graham crackers, making it a delightful pairing with our coffee. We also got a Brie and apple sandwich to go, which we enjoyed a bit later. Pauley’s offers more than just crepes and apples, along with a solid drink menu, though we didn’t indulge since we were traveling. The flavors were excellent, the portions were just right, and the atmosphere was bright and airy. Overall, it was a very enjoyable find.

This is a fantastic spot to enjoy a quick drink and crêpe with friends. The lively atmosphere is complemented by great music, and the service is excellent. The staff is very friendly, too. Keep in mind that the wait can be as long as an hour, so it’s a smart idea to arrive early on weekends! Their Cosmopolitan is simply amazing! I can’t recall the name of the crêpe I tried, but they have several delicious options to choose from.

Great lunch here. we had a Cuban chicken club crepe and philly cheese steak, and for dessert we shared a crepe with sugar and lemon. we had a great coffee, sweet water 420 beer and an icy service and atmosphere are impeccable. super place for a meal.

What a quirky spot! Don't let the signage mislead you; it's not just about crepes. The service was outstanding! We couldn't believe how quickly our drinks arrived. This was my first visit, and we will definitely return. I love discovering new and fun restaurants in my city!

I absolutely love this place! Whether it's the Nutella crepe, the brie and apple sandwich (make sure to order extra balsamic; you'll thank me later), or just stopping by for drinks, you won't be disappointed! The staff is attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite lunch spots!
