Lindsey's Culinary Market - Athens

This is such a quaint lunch cafe on the edge of downtown Athens. They have some classic and unique sandwiches, and the best lemon bar I've ever had!! I love stopping in for a quick bite or to stay and do homework. Pimentoless cheese sandwich is my fav!

CAN 'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT HER CATERING!I actually do business with Lindsey for her Catering Services. I haven 't yet eaten at the cafe, but I understand they serve some fresh salads and sandwiches. As far as catering goes, I honestly cannot say enough good things about her and her food. I 'll give you some of my tips pros below.______________Pros: She is FRIENDLY, competent and so easy going to talk to. That 's hard to find in some catering companies these days. She is EASY TO WORK WITH and so down to earth. She can (as far as I have been working with her) accommodate last minute catering requests... which is so appreciated in my line of work, because as much as I want to plan, sometimes we do have last minute things to plan work in. She has GREAT staff as well. I had one lady who delivered a catering order to my workplace one time, who was early, friendly and so helpful. Her FOOD is delicious. We have had a wide range of her items for catering meetings I will try to list a few notable ones: some tasty sides including coconut rice, roasted seasonal veggies (so wonderfully seasoned), baked salmon that was great, delicious fresh garden salad with fresh fruit and veggies on the top, a tender prime rib roast that had all staff members begging for more, and STUFFING MUFFINS, which were a huge hit! Her PRICING is fair and with the service and quality of the food, I am always more than happy with what she charges.______________Tip: If you need catering, call her instead of emailing. She is almost always available to talk to by phone.______________I don 't have any cons. Lindsey is wonderful. I have recommended her to many friends peers in the area and I think if you are needing catering services, especially for business meetings, you should look no further than her.

Lindsey's catering was AMAZING!! Each menu item was a standout. HIGHLY recommend for a more upscale catering party. Everyone loved it!! We got each item to serve the exact amount of attendees and we still had plenty of leftovers.

We enjoyed two delicious meals, and this is a sweet little local place not to be missed while in Athens. I got the salad with fresh greens and Thai noodles while my wife got the shrimp sandwich and also the Thai noodles. Both were quite yummy, and I see LOTS of folks love that shrimp sandwich. The noodles were delish! The severs were efficient and cheerful setting the place up just as we arrived, taking and serving catering orders and still getting our meals to us quickly. I was impressed.

I waited 30+ minutes for a turkey club sandwich with 2 very thin slices of turkey for $18.00. The peice of cheese was thicker than the turkey. The broccoli salad was good. Don't go if your in a hurry. I'm sorry I will not be back.
