Buffalo Wild Wings - Athens

Very disappointing food. Specialize in wings and then overcook them to inedible stones. Chicken chunks were so well done it made me think someone forgot they dropped them and journeyed to the restroom. The only saving grace was the cold beer and a friendly waitress who did all she could to make it right. If I ever return I think I'll stick with a burger. Update: Revisited to brave the previous experience. The waitress was cute, friendly, and attentive to the tables needs. Only had drinks and appetizers. The buffalo chicken pizza wasn't bad, but the trio chips were well, meh. Hard to dip into the dips when the chips are broken shards. I've upgraded the venue to 3 stars because of the waitress. Returned Several Times Since: Service is great. Staff is friendly and attentive, food has improved, appetizers and burgers are good. Drink prices aren't bad. I'd recommend now after several return visits. Updating to 4 stars.

Food was great, quick service, nice waiter, atmosphere wasn't bad either rather peaceful even though it's a sports bar, Only reason I give three stars order was wrong even though I repeated 3 times, and the waitress although very kind was actually a little to kind and kept coming over and talking about every 5 min and just kept talking. It was hard to just have a family meal because of it. Which maybe she was new Idk last I downloaded their app and your supposed to get ten dollars of when u scan qr code or punch it in after you get your receipt and it did not work said the code was invalid and it said the same when scanning the qr code. I did it serval times no luck. Other than these things the food was good.

Update: Increased the star ratings. Owner is interested in improving the establishment. He reached out right after I posted the review. Also, I decided food and atmosphere are better overall... so rating is now based on all our visits, not just this latest visit. Supply chain issue maybe still, but we will go back. A lot of restaurants are short staffed these days so taking that into consideration also. Original Review: I come here for the beer. And cheese curds. Don't come here for fine dining. Sometimes we get a great server. Usually they are out of something we ordered, but we make do. We aren't always told when we order that they are out of it... this time it wasn't until our food was coming out that they told us some of the ingredients on our order were out so we cancelled that portion of the order. They still gave us the fries from the order and we thought that was nice until we saw they charged us for the fries... and we ordered another meal to make up for the cancelled order! They are always under new management so we get hopeful... but nope. Still need work.

Service good, food took to long. Short staffed. Ordered hamburger, just ok. 2 of your bar pizza ordered. Not good at all. To many hot peppers on the dish. Even the mexican in the party could not eat it. Just a miserable dish to service anyone. Not sure if I will ever go back there again. You go and try it, see you can tolerate those over abundance hot pepper. The honey bbq one was order Not expecting it to be Intoleratable to eat. Your food has really gone down. I plan to tell everyone about the nasty overly hot bar pizza you are servicing. Ps I was charged 5 times on my Bank card for that visit. Has not been corrected. That is over 41.00 plus tip X 5 times. What gives? Now I have go back and see the Manager to get my charges corrected. What in the world is going ar your restuarant? All the football games were not loaded. Sounds like half assss work.

I ordered a 10 pc wings only. I picked up my food went back to my room and was instantly disappointed in what I saw. The wings were dry as a bone no sauce and the little bit that wasn't dried was on the box. I was hungry so I tried to make the best of a bad situation because I'm tired and I really didn't wanna drive anymore so I ate a few that I could and they were hard. Really disappointed. Maybe they have done others better but my experience with this location
