El Bolsi - Asuncion

Very nice experience at Bolsi, I had bife de chorizo rustico with potatoes and fried onions. It was excellent. 400gm of heaven with a cup of malbac and creme brulee to boot. The service was just excellent. Resterant was nice, dining inside but they also had dining outside and had a bakery attached. Highly recommended in Asuncion a very old establishment.

I think this place is one of the most well known spots in Asuncion so it's definitely worth the visit! Always busy and does fast food like coxinha amongst other things. They're really good and pretty cheap too. It's worth visiting if you want a quick lunch in a busy spot amongst loads of locals.

I very rarely write recommendations, but this restaurant gets a glowing one! Despite the fact that they offer a wide array of options, they make it all delicious. Went here two nights in a row with a group of 13 people and nobody was ever disappointed with what they got! (Without pushing our limits, upon further request(s , they even personalized our orders. Great staff, surprisingly wonderful restaurant. Can highly recommend! Suited for meat-lovers, pescetarians, vegetarians, vegans and even raw vegans!

After reading some negative reviews on Facebook from a few months ago, we decided to give this restaurant a try. We were pleasantly surprised with our experience today. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

I absolutely adore this restaurant, a true classic in downtown Asunción. No matter what you order from their extensive menu, everything tastes amazing. Before the pandemic, it was the only restaurant in town that was open 24/7, although now they close at midnight. During peak hours, securing a table can be tricky as you may have to put your name on a waiting list.
