Delicious drinks and food, with excellent service. It's a charming and cozy place, featuring a few outdoor tables as well! A minor note for Guinness enthusiasts: they don’t have the proper Guinness glasses, which might be a letdown. Food: 5/5.

This is my first time here, and I’m very particular about my choices because I want to feel comfortable and secure while enjoying my favorite cocktails. Alice was delightful and incredibly sweet; I would come back a thousand times just for her service. She really knows how to make you feel at ease.

Prior to the pandemic I used to love Sparrow. They had some of the best burgers in Astoria and great beer selection......However, having returned for the first time since their reopening, the food has become overpriced mediocrity. My salad (which was $26) consisted only of lettuce and the smallest piece of dry chicken one could imagine. My girlfriend got the burger, which was fine, but it was astronomically overpriced for the portion. The tater tots were also fine. Overall we were very disappointed, the prices felt like Highway robbery for what we got (even for NY), and the food quality has drastically declined.I regretfully will have to take sparrow off of my 'go-to ' list of pubs to eat at in Astoria.

Stopped in for a beer. Nice variety of drafts. Certainly nailed the tavern atmosphere. Service was quick. There were a couple gender neutral restrooms.
