Sunswick 3535 - Astoria

I had a fantastic time at this restaurant! The atmosphere is wonderful, and the bar staff are very friendly. The nachos are enormous—definitely meant for sharing with a group. I also tried the vegetarian tacos, which were delicious and packed with colorful veggies. They offer a great selection of beers on tap and in cans. The outdoor seating area is cozy and feels private. I've been coming here for a few years now, and I have no plans to stop. I highly recommend stopping by if you're heading to the nearby cinema or MoMI.

Do you love beer? Do you love 80s rock? Do you love Buffalo chicken pliers? If you say Oh, hello, yes to at least one of the three, then Sunswick is the bar for you! This place is located one block or two away from the Museum of the Moving Image, Sac 's Place, Tacuba, and Kaufman Studios. If you have been to one of the above mentioned spots and have said to yourself, Even, I don't want my night to end right now, but I don't want to go too far, then Sunswick is the local bar oasis you are looking for. Super casual and covered. Enjoy!

I visited this restaurant for a beer and found the staff to be very friendly. The flight numbers are displayed in large chalk, and there’s an impressive selection shown on the big monitors. However, I would prefer to see more sour options and a selection available on Untappd. Overall, I give it 4.5 stars, which I’ll round up to 5.

The atmosphere is intimate and cozy! They offer a great selection of locally brewed beers, both on draft and in cans. The food is absolutely AMAZING! The bartenders are incredibly fun and friendly, and they always have interesting things playing on the TV, like classic black and white movies and sports. I definitely recommend this place for any occasion!

Great bar, amazing atmosphere. Good music. Would definitely come again.
