Sunswick 35/35 - Astoria

The tomato soup tasted watery, overly salty, and quite acidic, akin to canned soup. On the other hand, the grilled cheese sandwich was a great value—huge portion! Overall, I have mixed feelings about this place.

Our group decided to try a variety of shareable dishes, and the only highlight was the Chicken Fingers. The Quesadillas and Mozzarella Sticks were quite bland and lacked flavor. The Cheeseburger was decent, but it didn't stand out in any way. Overall, I don't think I'd choose to order from here again.

It was wonderful to visit Sunswick after so many years! I grew up in the area and remember when it first opened, apparently 18 years ago, before I left NYC in 2012. The beer selection is still fantastic, and the food is absolutely delicious. The service was a bit inconsistent, and I wouldn't describe it as particularly friendly or welcoming, but that wouldn't stop me from returning.

This is a cozy little place with service that can be inconsistent, but the food is fantastic! Be sure to try the quesadilla!

The staff is very friendly! The poutines are fantastic, and the mixed drinks are excellent. They also have an impressive selection of beers on tap. This is definitely one of my favorite spots for a bite to eat and a drink!
