I had no complaints. Will go back anytime I am in area. When The Ship Inn closed their doors never thought I would find a replacement. This will probably be my go to place. It is food truck style with seating under cover, inside a greenhouse style building. Very limited seating. Some of the floor is gravel. That is probably the only concerns I would have. Elderly may not be able to navigate the seating area.
Such a cute, whimsical, unique place! I recommend the halibut. The prices seemed a little steep compared to what I've seen but it is worth it. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. All the art pieces and knick-knacks are also for sale so you can browse around while waiting for your food.
My wife stated it's the best fish chips ever, and we've had a lot. Ordered the full plate (3/4 pieces) of Halibut $22.00 and split it. Fries were perfect, double fried and lightly seasoned. The Halibut was done, not dry or greasy. It took 20 minutes to receive the order, but it was worth it. Quite an eclectic setting to eat there.
Awesome quintessential ambience amongst hundreds of handmade local nicknacks that are up for sale. Each vying for attention and competing with the other. The place is operated out of a truck and yet the feeling is of a full-service restaurant with awesome service and so I'm lovely people serving ya! Food's amazing and very local. The fish food here is lovely. The place is a must visit!
This place was recommended by our local family members so we went and they weren't kidding! It's awesome food! The clam chowder sells out fast so go early. We had amazing cod fish and chips, the coleslaw was even great too. Also had the prawn Cesar salad which the prawns are butterflied then fried so they are huge! This is the best fish and chips I've had in a long time!
