Danni's Pizza Shop - Asquith

This is now my favorite local pizza place! Despite the modest decor, the pizzas here are fantastic. The staff and owner are friendly, the dough is always consistent, and the toppings are generous. The taste of the pizza brings back memories. There is a large selection on the menu, including pasta and other dishes (which I have yet to try). They also offer soft drinks. It's definitely worth a visit to support this local business. The prices are very reasonable. I am a happy customer.

I have visited this restaurant twice now. The pizzas are always loaded with toppings and have thin crusts. They are much better than those at Domino's, etc. The pasta is also good! I highly recommend the meat lovers pizza and the garlic pizza. The garlic pizza is delicious and offers great value. The meat lovers pizza has a generous amount of toppings and tastes delicious. The food is served hot and ready to eat. I definitely recommend Dannis, despite the decor being a bit lacking.

Update 15/02/2022 Have since tried them again a few times, seems like quality has improved, so I'll be changing my rating to 4. I hope quality stays the same. Used to really like Dani's, decently priced and tasty. Recently the quality of ingredients has dropped and just isn't the same. I've tried 3 times since, hoping I was just unlucky but it's obvious the quality of ingredients has changed for the worse. If it was the only place that was open and I was dying for pizza, I'd order something simple, still not that tastes though. Much better places to get takeaway and pizza in hornsby area.

The restaurant serves delicious thin-crust pizzas and high-quality pasta dishes. It may not be Italy, but it's certainly good enough to warrant a return visit, especially considering the reasonable prices.

This is a no frills, hole in the wall Italian joint in the heart of Darlinghurst- Expect better than average pizza, amazing chili oil, plenty of parmesan
