We just had a perfect meal! The setting is beautiful in the Little Nell great cocktails as well. Our server La Count was exceptional knowledgeable, friendly and so funny! The entire staff went out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. Food was outstanding and great wine selection as well. 10/10!!
We went to celebrate an anniversary. We were delighted with our experience here. As a vegetarian, I had choices! My husband, who is not a veggie loved the short rib and the wagu beef. We both loved our salads, Ricotta and burrata and the Stone fruit salad. Desserts were excellent. My husband loved the Somm. The dining room was beautiful, service was great (Paul was our main server) We thought it was the best meal we had in 10 days in Aspen and the most reasonable price wise, as well.
We had dinner here for the first time while staying at the hotel. Great place, beautiful patio to sit outside. Very romantic. Fantastic, almost exceptional wine list and a sommelier who knows what he is talking about. Those are the positives. The staff … offers some improvement opportunities. Of course, finding good staff in hospitality is difficult. But compared to the staff in the hotel there is a notable gap in skills, experience, professionalism and even for some a question if they actually fit in a 5 Star place like this. Food was good (Caspacho!! but not outstanding. Almost too busy plates with too much going on. Even so that a wonderful lamp chop can get drowned in too many flavors and textures. So good food, but some room upwards.
Two friends and I had dinner at Element 47 after trying out various creative, delicious restaurants in Aspen. Our experience here fell flat. The restaurant feels like the formal dining room on a cruise ship. We all felt a little disappointed with the menu very heavy on meat and fish almost nothing for our vegan friend except the $42 cauliflower (which was delicious but this price is ridiculous). The biggest insult was the pea salad. Two of us got this and we all started laughing after the server left. This is the most pretentious dish I think I have ever seen. A few snap peas split open on a blob of buttermilk yogurt for $25. There are no salads or soup options on the menu and we all found it too limiting. I love a small menu but this was strange. Not to mention the restaurant was almost empty when every other restaurant in town was packed. I will say that the server and sommelier were both friendly and great.
